General procedure: To a solution of compound 15 (1.0 mmol) in dichloromethane (20 ml) was added EDCI¡¤HCl (1.2 mmol) and HOBt (0.1 mmol). Then added corresponding hetroaromatic acids 10a-i, 14a-i and 12a-d (1.0 mmol) and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 10 h. The reaction was monitored by TLC. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure to afford the crude product which was further purified by column chromatography on silica gel using ethyl acetate and hexane as solvent system to obtain the pure products as solids.
