The organic layer was separated, dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated.The residue was purified by silica gel chromatography (irregular Si02, 120 g, DCM/MeOH: 100/0 to 95/5). The fractions containing the product were mixed andconcentrated to afford 439 mg (55percent) of intermediate 35.
