General procedure: n-Butyltriphenylphosphonium peroxodisulfate (0.5 mmol) was added in small portions to a solution of pyrazole (1 mmol) and iodine (0.6 mmol) in CH3CN/H2O (10 : 2 mL) in a 50 mL round-bottome flask equipped with a magnetic stirrer.
