The solution was washed with saturated aqueous NaHCO3 solution, brine and dried over anhydrous MgSO4. The crude product was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel using hexanes/EtOAc (1:1) as eluent. Yield: 131 mg (28percent). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CHLOROFORM-D) delta 1.16-1.26 (m, 2H), 1.35-1.48 (m, 2H), 1.54-1.56 (m, 9H), 1.72 (dd, J=8.69, 3.03 Hz, 2H), 1.95-2.04 (m, 1H), 2.11-2.19 (m, 2H), 4.17-4.21 (m, 2H), 4.37-4.46 (m, 1H), 4.50-4.59 (m, 1H), 7.44 (d, J=8.59 Hz, 1H), 7.96 (dd, J=8.69, 1.86 Hz, 1H), 8.08 (s, 1H), 8.44 (d, J=1.37 Hz, 1H), 8.64 (s, 1H), 9.91 (s, 1H).
