The crude product was purified by flash chromatography, eluting with hexanes\/ethyl acetate (4:1) to give methyl 1 -methyl- lH-pyrazole-4-carboxylate (0.50 g, 3.6 mmol, 76% yield) as a solid, m\/z (APCI-pos) M+l = 141.1.<\/p>\n<p>These compound has a wide range of applications.
