The reaction mixture was poured into ice water, filtered, and dried in vacuo. The residue (4.38 g, 95% yield) as a white solid was reacted without further purification. 1H-NMR (270 MHz, CDCl3) delta: 11.46 (1H, br s), 8.63-8.65 (1H, m), 8.29 (1H, d, J = 8.4 Hz), 7.78-7.85 (1H, m), 7.64 (1H, s), 7.28-7.33 (1H, m). LC\/MS (ESI): m\/z 223 [M + H]+.<\/p>\n<p>These compound has a wide range of applications.
