Synthesis of 4-(3-(3-oxa-9-azaspiro[5.5]undecan-9-yl)-lH-pyrazol-l- yl)-2-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-6,7-dihydro-5H-pyrrolo [3,4-b] pyridin-5-one, 1-9 Synthesis of compound 9.2. To a mixture of 1.4 (0.4g, 1.05mmol, l .Oeq) in 1 ,4- dioxane (5.0 ml) was added 3-Bromo-lH-pyrazole (0.169g, 1.15mmol, 1.1 eq) and K2CO3 (0.29g, 2.10mmol, 2.5eq). The reaction mixture was degassed for 10 min. under argon atmosphere, then Pd2(dba)3 (0.096 g, 0.01 mmol, O. leq) and Xantphos (0.121g, 0.2mmol, 0.2eq) were added, and again degassed for 5 min. The reaction was then heated at 100 C for 2 h. Upon completion of the reaction, reaction mixture was poured into water and product was extracted with EtOAc. Organic layers were combined, washed with brine solution, dried over Na2S04 and concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain crude which was purified by column chromatography to provide 9.2 (0.1 1 g, 21.4%).
