The mixture was refluxed overnight under an atmosphere of argon. After cooling the reaction mixture to room temperature, the mixture was filtered through Celite and washed with CH3CN. The filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure and the remaining residue was purified by column chromatography on silica gel (eluted with DCM\/EtOAc) to afford compound 14-S3.<\/p>\n<p>These compound has a wide range of applications.
