After filtering off the sol- ids, the filtrate was evaporated and the residue partitioned between dichloromethane and water. The organic phase was washed with water and brine, then dried over sodium sulfate and evapo- rated to give the title compound (5.70 g, 81 % of theory, 83% purity).
