After cooling to RT, the reaction is quenched with 10 mL of sat. NH4Cl and 10 mL of water and extracted with CH2Cl2 (2 x 40 mL). The combined organic extracts are dried (Na2SO4), filtered, and evaporated in vacuo to give a brown solid.
