Pd(OAc)2 (0.025 g, 0.110 mmol) was added and the reaction was heated at 120 C for 18 h. The reaction was partitioned between water (15 ml) and EtOAc (30 ml). The aqueous layer was extracted with EtOAc (2 x 20 ml). The combined organic layers was washedwith brine (15 ml), dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated. The residue was purified by normal phase chromatography using hexanes and EtOAc as eluents to give tert-butyl N- [(15)-i -[3 -fluoro-5 -(1 -methyl-4-nitro- iH-pyrazol-5 -yl)phenyl]but-3 -en-i -yl]carbamate (0.123 g, 57%) as a yellow oil. ?HNMR(400MHz, CDC13)oe 8.23- 8.i7(m, iH), 7.22-7.16 (m, 1H), 7.10 (s, 1H), 7.01 (dt,J=8.5, 1.9 Hz, 1H), 5.76-5.60 (m, 1H), 5.22-5.11(m, 2H), 4.90 (br. s., 1H), 4.78 (br. s., 1H), 3.78 – 3.69 (m, 3H), 2.60 – 2.48 (m, 2H), 1.41(br. s., 9H).<\/p>\n
