The precipitate was filtered off and washed with DCM yielding 2-amino-7-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-5,6,7,8- tetrahydropyrazolo[l,5-a]pyrido[4,3-d]pyrimidine-3-carboxylic acid 5 as a beige solid which was used in next step without further purification.
