The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the residue was dissolved in DCM (50 mL). Phenylsilane (1.715 g, 1.953 mL, 15.85 mmol) and palladium triphenylphosphane (549.5 mg, 0.4755 mmol) were added to the reaction mixture which was stirred at RT for 4 h. The precipitate was filtered off and washed with DCM yielding 2-amino-7-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-5,6,7,8- tetrahydropyrazolo[l,5-a]pyrido[4,3-d]pyrimidine-3-carboxylic acid 5 as a beige solid which was used in next step without further purification. MS (ES+) 334.1.<\/p>\n
