The reaction mixture was refluxed for 2h and then cooled to room temperature. The reaction mixture was neutralized with 1N NaOH to pH=8 and extracted with EtOAc. The combined organic layers were washed with brine, dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, and concentrated to afford the crude product 32 (0.66g, 83percent yield). 1H NMR (400MHz, DMSO-d6) delta 8.18 (s, 1H), 7.64 (s, 1H), 7.48 (s, 2H), 6.71 (s, 2H), 6.43 (s, 1H), 5.25 (s, 2H). 13C NMR (100MHz, DMSO-d6) delta 147.87, 140.01, 130.43, 127.32, 120.60, 114.57, 107.16.
