The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 8 h. The reaction mixture was washed with 1 N HC1 (100 mL x 2), dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The crude residue was purified by silica gel chromatography (petroleum ether \/ EtOAc = 3 : 1) to give thetitle compound (3.2 g, 75%) as a yellow solid.<\/p>\n<p>These compound has a wide range of applications.
