To the reaction mass, a 1:1 mixture of concentrated HNO3 (30 mL, 0.673 mmol) and concentrated H2SO4 (30 ml, 15 Vol.) was added dropwise over a period of 30 min. Cooling was discontinued and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight.
