Then 3.8 ml (54.5 mmol) 65% nitric acid are added with cooling such that the temperature remains between -15 and -10 C. The reaction mixture is stirred for 1 h between -20 and -5 C., then poured into ice water and suction filtered. The filter cake is washed with water, dried at 55 C. and further reacted without any further purification. Yield: 8.00 g (approx. 40%), approx. 50% C10H9N3O3 (219.20) Rf value: 0.70 (silica gel; cyclohexane\/ethyl acetate=1:1)<\/p>\n<p>In the field of chemistry, the synthetic routes of compounds are constantly being developed and updated.
