The reaction mixture was heated at 70C for 16 hours. The reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate, water and brine solution. The organic fraction was separated, dried over anhydrous sodium sulphate and evaporated under reduced pressure to obtain the crude compound purified by flash chromatography using (0-30 % ethyl acetate-hexane) to afford tert-butyl 4-(4-formylpyrazol-l- yl)-2, 6-dimethyl-piperidine- 1 -carboxylate 24-4 (200.0 mg, 650.65 umol, 50.00% yield) as off white solid.
