The reaction mixture was stirred at rt overnight and then poured into a sat. aq. Rochelle salt solution. The mixture was stirred at rt for 3 h and diluted with EA. The layers were separated and the aq. layer was extracted with EA (3x). The combined org. layers were dried over MgS04, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure.
