The resultant reaction mixture was stirred at -70 C. for 20 minutes and then treated with a solution of 1,3,5-trimethyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde (352 mg, 2.55 mmol) and THF (15 mL) at -70 C. The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 20 minutes before quenching with saturated aqueous NH4Cl (20 mL) and extracting with dichloromethane:methanol (5:1, 50 mL*10).
