Saturated aqueous ammonium chloride and ethyl acetate were added; the organic layer was separated, washed with saturated aqueous ammonium chloride, saturated aqueous NaHCO3 and brine, dried over anhydrous MgSO4, filtered and concentrated in vacuo.
