The reaction mixture was cooled and the solvent was removed under reduced pressure. The crude mass was purified by flash column chromatography using 1:9 MeOH in CHCl3 to yield compound 7a (2.6 g). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): delta 6.64 (s, 1H), 4.39 (q, J=8.00 Hz, 2H), 3.06-3.01 (m, 1H), 1.39 (t, J=8.00 Hz, 3H), 1.31 (d, J=8.00 Hz, 6H).
