After cooling to room temperature, the reaction mixture was poured into water and extracted with AcOEt. The extract was washed with water and brine, dried over MgSO4, concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was recrystallized from hexane\/THF to give the title compound (8.00 g, 63% yield) as a white solid: mp 181-183 C.; 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3): delta ppm 7.16-7.22 (6H, m), 7.28-7.41 (13H, m), 7.87-7.91 (2H, m). Anal. Calcd for C28H21BrN2: C, 72.26; H, 4.55; N, 6.02. Found: C, 72.43; H, 4.66; N, 5.91.<\/p>\n<p>These compound has a wide range of applications.
