The mixture was stirred at 110C for 24h, diluted with H2O (20mL), and extracted with EtOAc (15mL\u00d72). The combined organic phases were washed with H2O (20mL\u00d72) and brine (30mL), dried over MgSO4 and concentrated in a vacuum. The residue was purified by flash column chromatography (12-25% EtOAc in petroleum ether).<\/p>\n<p>These compound has a wide range of applications.
