The reaction mixture was then diluted with ethyl acetate (30 mL) and washed with 10% aqHCl (1*25 mL), sat NaHCO3 (1*25 mL) and water (4*25 mL). Organic layer was collected, dried (MgSO4) and evaporated to give a crude product, which was purified by column chromatography (10% to 50% EtOAc in Hexane) to give the amide as a colorless solid in 66% (165 mg, >95% purity).
