The synthetic route is as follows.<\/p>\n<p>General procedure: A solution of beta-bromovinyl aldehyde 1 (1.0 mmol), aminopyrazole 2 (1.0 mmol), Pd(OAc)2 (5mol%), PPh3 (10 mol%) and K2CO3(1.2 mmol) in DMF (1.0 mL) was irradiated in a closed vessel in a Synthos 3000 microwave reactor at 700 Watt (120 oC and 14 bar) for 20 minutes. After completion of the reaction, the reaction mixture was treated with water (30 mL) and then extracted with ethylacetate (30 x 3 mL). The organic portion was washed with water, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and the solvent was removed in vacuo to obtain a crude product which on silica gel column chromatographic purification using EtOAc\/hexane as the eluent afforded compounds 3a-l.<\/p>\n<p>The chemical industry reduces the impact on the environment during synthesis 3-Amino-5-phenylpyrazole.
