The reaction mixture was heated at 80 C for 8h. The reaction mixture was filtered and the filtrate was concentrated to afford crude product and which was purified by column chromatography (60-120 mesh) using 22% ethyl acetate in pet ether as solvent to afford 4, 6-dichloro-N-(4, 4- difluorocyclohexyl) pyrimidin-2-amine [Bj as an off-white solid (4 g, 32%).
