(Boc)20 (9.24 g, 42.4 mmol) was added drop wise to reaction mixture for 30 min and maintained for 3 h at 0-5 C. Progress of the reaction was monitored by the TLC (30 % ethyl acetate\/n-hexane). On completion of the reaction, the reaction mixture was brought to room temperature for 2 h and the DCM was distilled off, the residue obtained was treated with water (50 mL) and extracted with ethyl acetate (100 mL). The combined organic layer was dried over sodium sulphate, and the solvent evaporated under vacuum. The obtained crude was purified with CC to yield tert-butyl (3-(trifluoromethyl)-1 H-pyrazol-5-yl)methylcarbamate as a white colored solid (5 g, 44 %).<\/p>\n<p>In the field of chemistry, the synthetic routes of compounds are constantly being developed and updated.
