Organic layer was washed with brine solution (50 mL), dried over Na2S04 and concentrated under vacuum to obtain the crude compound which was further purified by flash chromatography using ethyl acetate: n-hexane (40:60) to get l-(4- hydroxymethylphenyl) &#8211; 1 H-pyrazole .
