The mixture was stirred at 80 C for 12 h. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure. The residue was diluted with water (30 ml) and extracted with EtOAc (3 x 50 ml), the organic layers were combined and washed with brine (20 ml), dried over Na2S04, and concentrated. The resulting residue was purified by FCC (10 &#8211; 25 % petroleum ether in ethyl acetate) to give the title compound as a colourless oil (Y = 79 %).
