The mixture was allowed to warm to room temperature and stirred for 16 h. The reaction mixture was then diluted with 20 mL brine, and extracted with 3 x 30 mL of methylene chloride. The combined organic extracts were dried(Na2SO4), filtered, and the solvent was removed in vacuo.
