The mixture was stirred at r.t overnight then concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was dissolved in EtOAc, washed with satd. aq. NaHCO3 and concentrated to afford methyl 1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylate. LC-MS: m\/z 141 (M+H)+.<\/p>\n<p>These compound has a wide range of applications.
