Driessen, Recl. Trav., Chim. Pays-Bas, 101, 441, 1982) and 0.4 g LiOH in 50 ml acetonitril for 20 hours under back-flow and argon atmosphere. The solution is filtered and the solvent is rotated off. The product has the form of a bright yellow oil. Yield: 6.3 g (80%). 1H-NMR (CDCl3- 400 MHz; 300K): 7.43 (d; 4H); 6.21 (s; 2H); 4.93 (s, 4H); 2.83(m; 8H); 2.62 (m; 4H); 2.53 (q; 2H); 0.95 (t, 3H); 13C-NMR: 139.0; 129.3; 125.9; 72.6; 54.3; 53.5; 52.7; 51.7; 12.3 ppm.
