The resultant mixture was heated to 110C for 3 hours. The solvent was evaporated and the reaction product was purified by column chromatography on silica using ethyl acetate as the eluent. There was thus obtained 4-(fert-butoxycarbonylamino)- 1,5 -dimethyl- lH-pyrazole (0.225 g); 1H NMR: (DMSOd6) 1.4 (s, 9H), 2.2 (s, 3H), 3.55 (s, IH), 6.0 (br s, IH), 9.3 (br s, IH).<\/p>\n<p>These compound has a wide range of applications.
