The equation can be used for isomer identification and for the study of tautomers. Under the latter condition the phenyl resonance is a singlet. Chem. shift data are used to distinguish relative coplanarity of the phenyl and pyrazole rings. Ring proton coupling constants of pyrazoles are discussed.
