The crude material was purified by flash chromatography (12 g silica gel eluting with 100% hexanes ramped to 70% ethyl acetate in hexanes). The product 1 -phenyl- 1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid [7-fluoro-1-(2-fiuoro-phenyl)-4-oxo-1,4- dihydro-quinolin-3-ylmethyl]-amide (46 mg, 58%) was obtained as an off-white solid.
