(2488) The reaction mixture was stirred at rt for 19 h. The reaction mixture was filtered and the white solid was washed with DCM (2 x 15 mL). The filtrate and washings were concentrated in vacuo to give a golden yellow oil which was purified by flash column chromatography on silica (gradient elution with 0% to 50% EtOAc in isohexane) to afford the title compound (167.6 mg, 0.9246 mmol, 37%) as a pale yellow liquid. To confirm the presence of the title compound, a few drops of isobutylamine were added to the LCMS sample of the product before analysis to give the thiourea, LCMS [M+H]+ 255.1, RT 1.256 minutes, purity 99.6% (Method 15).<\/p>\n<p>The chemical industry reduces the impact on the environment during synthesis 1124-16-9.
