The resulting solution was stirred overnight at 95C in an oil bath. The reaction was then quenched by the addition of water and extracted with 3 x 100 mL of ethyl acetate. Organic layers were combined and concentrated under vacuum. The product crude was purified using flash column chromatography to furnish 3.5 g (50%) of intermediate 28.2 as yellow oil.<\/p>\n<p>The chemical industry reduces the impact on the environment during synthesis 2075-46-9.
